This Scares The Crap Out of Me
There aren’t a lot of things that scare me. Bugs? Nope. Snakes? Nope. Spiders? Not a chance. But this does.
Apparently, teenagers are way beyond just having sex out of curiousity. They are having sex for money. And I’m not just talking about the low-income, parents don’t give a shit because they’re all fucked up on crack – I’m talking middle class teenagers that want “stuff” so badly that they are willing to have sex for it.
In Edmonton it is has recently been discovered that teenage girls are going to sex parties so they can buy all the things they want. These girls go and get paid to have sex with 3 or more men and then they go and buy whatever it is they think they need so badly. Why are they doing this? Is it because their self-esteem is that low? Is it because they have no values? Is it because they are just so materialistic that they’ll do anything for money?
And is this so different from the girl that turns 18 and starts her own teen paysite? I mean really, there’s not much of an age difference there. The girls in that article are 15. How much have they really matured in 3 years?
I don’t know what exactly has me so freaked out. Is it because a lot of the sites I promote focus on teens? Is it because I have a teenage daughter and I wonder if that is where her head is at? Would she do that? I think me and the girl might need to sit down and have a long chat.
So consider this a PSA – if you have a teen where do they stand on sexuality?
